Research Infographics (Poster)

Tracks: The poster presentations are categorized according to track.

Track 1: Sustainable Development Strategies for Inclusive Growth
Track 2: Innovative Technologies and Social Entrepreneurship for Social Impact

Poster size: The poster must have a size of 1080x1920px or approximately 13 inches wide and 23 inches tall.

Font: Readable font type and size (title: large, headings: medium, body: small but readable). The contents must be readable from a 2-meter distance.

Content: The poster should include the title of the study, author’s name and affiliation, brief abstract (max. of 250 words), objectives, methodology, results or findings, summary/conclusion, and references. Place your email address or contact number for attendees who desire further information or collaboration. Poster should be stimulate discussion, not give a long presentations which effectively communicates your research and engages your audience. You may opt to place a logo of your affiliation.

Graphics: High-quality images, charts, and graphs to illustrate key points; avoid clutter.

Illustration: Be sure that your presentation can be easily followed sequentially from one part to the next. Use numbers or arrows to better direct the reader from item to item in the correct order, left to right, top to bottom. Do not clutter with so much text or artwork.

Instruction for Submission: All interested participants may submit their infographics poster (must be in jpeg format) through the completion of IPOVCON 2024 Entry Submission Form (https://tinyurl.com/558b3hvc) or you may submit via email at ipovconofficial@ssu.edu.ph with a subject IPOVCON 2024 Infographics Poster Submission.

The file name should follow the following format:
[Surname]_[First Name]_[Abbreviation of Affiliation]_[Poster]_Track.

Review and Result Notice: The infographics poster will be screened and evaluated thoroughly by SSU Screening Committee via the set criteria. Accepted Posters will be digitally displayed at the event. There will be no oral presentation and no printed copies will be required for the Poster Competition. Only soft copies of the Posters are to be requested.

Best Poster Award Guidelines

  1. One (1) Best Poster will be chosen from among the accepted entries.
  2. Technical poster should be prepared following the prescribed format.
  3. The researcher(s) should be present during the poster session to answer clarifications and questions of the evaluators.
  4. Best poster should earn at least 85% to qualify for the award.
  5. The decision of the panel of judges shall be final and unappealable. The rating sheets are considered personal notes of the panel of Judges and shall not be given to any contestant or requesting party.
  6. Identified panel of judges shall evaluate all entries using the following criteria:
